Network Administrator


Gameloft is looking for a strong intermediate network administrator to join the Global Network Services (GNS) team.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• General level 2/3 support
• Part of the 24x7 “on call” team
• Support our worldwide Internet links with our various global ISPs
• Participate in the implementation of global networking standards and equipment configuration
• Deployment and installation of Telecom equipment (in offices and at the data center)
• Operate routers/switches/firewalls
• Layer 2 and layer 3 debugging; routing issues, access controls, VPNs, etc.
• Document technical procedures and policies



Requirements:

• 4+ years networking experience in a high-volume and critical production service environment
• Strong experience with TCP/IP networks and stacks as well as a mastery of networking layers 2 and 3
• Knowledge of and experience with network services and equipment (e.g. BPG, spanning-tree, HSRP, TACACS+/Radius, etc.)
• Experience with telephony systems (VoIP, PBX)
• Experience with SNMP and RRD-based management tools
• Network related certifications an asset
• Experience with Open Source tools and operating systems an asset
• Programming experience with Perl or a UNIX shell is an asset
• Good interpersonal and communication skills - ability communicate in English or French essential
• Ability to work independently and to manage priorities
• Strong organizational and project management skills and analysis methodology
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to work under stress and in a 24x7x365 production environment is essential
